Agreed, This is a good deal too if anyone wants to go to the next level the Glands discography box on colored wax for $99.00…

This is a good deal. You can rarely find The Dan used for under this price, so new is nice. I was also surprised that I only have Aja, Katy Lied, Two Against Nature and Greatest Hits. Thought I had more of their early catalog.
There was a club that had their debut as the album of the month for March:

There's a few records that stick with you because of the time and place and you always sort of associate them with that thing or those feelings, they just get tied together. DC for me is Zappa and Hendrix and Rush. I was 14 and walking around listening to that. I first heard Silver Jews Natural Bridge the first time I visited Seattle and my friend Megan drove us around at night, showing me the parts of the city we hadn't got to in the day -- we drove up and down a mountain and fuck if I didn't just want to move there just based on those alone. Something about driving around in the cool night, tired, listening to this album which was completely new and foreign to me was just so wonderful.

Similar thing happened to me. First time I heard MBV was on tape in a car crossing over the Bay Bridge from Berkeley to San Francisco. It was like 2am, the bridge had been repaired and re-opened a few months after the earthquake. I was exhausted and somewhat high still. Felt total euphoria and nauseous at the same time. The darkness of the Bay and the lights of Oakland behind and SF in front are burned into my brain.
