Online Vinyl Deals

I asked them if my refund was processed, and they responded, but didn't answer my question? Just said it's out of stock. So I filed a chargeback with my bank. Not dealing with that company anymore.
They told me they issued a refund and it would take 3-5 days, but I payed with a PayPay balance - which in my experience is almost always processed immediately. Not impressed, to say the least.

Unsure how many copies remain, but RSD Grateful Dead New Haven 5-5-77 is 20% off ($84) with free shipping at 1-2-3-4 Go. Need to add to cart to see discount.
Yoink! Thanks!

Another B&N deal: The Vinyl Collection, Vol. 1
Billy Joel The Vinyl Collection, Vol. 1 Vinyl LP(Long Playing Record - Includes book) Reg $260.99 / $65.24 clearance
UPC: 0190759255216
Hmmm...I just received a B&N gift card. Maybe time for another run over there.

@MikeH Thanks for continuing to unearth these deals. I'm curious how you keep finding more clearance items. Are you simply searching various B&N inventories through the google site trick? Or have you befriended a B&N local employee? Wondering about other box sets, including that giant Blondie one.

I really just like to get @Nee Lewman all hot and bothered by the sales!

It’s a mix of stuff. People on various other forums finding stuff in store or searching on google.

Obviously I haven’t been online. Sorry for asking a question.
No worries, it’s a bit of a running joke. The explanation is a bit detailed and not super obvious so it’s been asked and explained several times over the past month.

Basically Barnes & Nobles retail stores are having a shadow sale on several releases but they aren’t advertised in store or online so a bit of internet sleuthing has been going on to find them.

Essentially specific titles are available at a massive discount “in store” only. But if you go to the store those albums won’t be marked as discounted but when you they ring you up or price check the item the price will show a massive discount.

The easiest way to take advantage of these deals is find the discounted titles UPC code and then head down to (or call) your local B&N store.

When you get there you can find a helpful employee and ask them if they have these titles available? If they do then have them price check to confirm the price and if it’s the correct, you are good to go. If they do not have the store in stock you can provide the employee with the UPC and they can search their network and order a copy for you. They can have the title mailed to your home directly or for in store pick up.

There have been a lot of fantastic deals on box sets (seems like they are clearing out warehouse space). People have gotten wildly discounted copies of the 50th Anniversary Neil Young Harvest box, Smashing Pumpkins Melancholy and The Infinite Sadness box, Nirvana Nevermind Box and The Beatles Revolver box to name a few most of those have since sold out I believe. There has been some heavily discounted regular discs like a $5 copy of The Beastie Boys Ill Communication amongst others. I am missing some titles but if you search this thread you will find several lists of discounted titles.

Tenderly and lovingly killing poor guys’ wallets.

@Oldwhitelincoln11 I tried putting all the titles people have been able to find into a google doc but gave up since there were too many to keep track of.

Some of these may no longer be available (like the Grateful dead boxes)
