Any confirmation yet if Target will have 3-for-2 on music on Black Friday?

It was looking like they'd gone to once a year with this, in June. Would love to see them break that pattern.

it's worth building that wishlist up ahead of time

They did it for Black Friday last year, so hoping music is included again this year.

Based on my records (don’t ask lol), these are the last times they’ve done it:

June 2020 (Father’s Day)
October 2020
November 2020 (Black Friday)
February 2021
November 2021 (Black Friday)
June 2022 (Father’s Day)
Okay, so according to my Target order history (which I should have checked before my post above), the "Black Friday" B2G1 sale started the Sunday before Thanksgiving; if it's happening this year, that would be three days from now. Anyone have any insider info about whether or not this is going to happen? and/or has anyone else been loading the 'save for later' area of their Target cart in preparation?

New Target ad isn't up yet. Guessing we'll see in the next day or two.

I think you'd be surprised at the cleanliness, organization and low low prices (seriously) these days. This ain't your grandma's Walmart anymore. I know it's blasphemous to say but it almost feels like a Target on steroids built on top of a Home Depot. And this coming from a guy that always swore off Wally World. When I found out my mom started to go there (who instilled in me the hatred for WM), I knew times they were a-changin'
This is not the case in my neck of the woods. I can say that Target has been going downhill for a minute.

This is at least kind of tempting

I know there's a lot going on on this thread right now, but I think N&Gers mentioned this repress of this classic album is especially good:

And this too, from the Pixies:

Last update: there's lots more in the "bargain bin" this morning, including Mingus, Gang of Four, Tower of Power, Stooges, Neil Young, Queen, Dire Straits, Marvin Gaye, The Cure... Prices aren't super discount, but add a coupon code or wait for them to show up on Walmart's website?

I thought about this too. $350 to $100, but still it's $100 out of my wallet and you're really paying that for the book design and autographs. Still tempting...

Last time I got impatient and got the box sets through their website, I paid an extra $8 shipping (for large items) and then Walmart had them cheaper w/ free shipping an hour later. I know there are like 5 of us fans left on Earth, but that Roxette - Joyride box set for $40 is insane. I happily paid $90 a while back.

I also really would recommended the Zazie box set. She's excellent.
