I had a friend (who sadly passed away last year) that bought the condo next door just for his comics and toys collection. The extra condo was a small loft and he had it set-up like a reading nook with all his collectibles arranged all around. I guess it kept all the geeky stuff out of the main family condo they had. It was odd but still a pretty neat space.

So me wanting to spend about 100k on finishing our basement so I can have a music room the size of the ground floor is not out of line. Thanks I will let Mrs know.

Acoustic is not the best and I can still hear my kids calling for me from the outside. At least they cannot knock the door so it will be it for now.

I can't believe that was like $65 when it came out.
I found it for $20 a while back.

It looks like all of my get_importcds treasures are on the way except for the Black Sabbath / Sabotage set. Expecting that to get canceled, but I definitely won't complain. I only really wanted the live set. Bowie Brilliant Adventure / Bowie Toy / Almost Famous / Let It Be and the others are all here already or en route. I thought ALL of them were getting canceled that day.

I think we all collectively forgot that these crazy blowout sales used to happen 1-2x/year. My theory is that the pandemic/“supply chain” issues slowed production down, so distributors did not have as big a need to unload stock. The prime times for these sales are right before RSD and then mid-November right before Black Friday.
