Phono Cartridges - Your favorites and least favorites?

Very insightful! Once the time comes I'll give the VDH some reading and see if my gear would be accommodating. I'll actually probably look into well before it's time, because I get curious. But no moves happening quickly for now. Plenty of life going on and records to spin in the mean time.

How does it work out in terms of retipping/trade in cost if you’re a lunatic that spins enough to need a new one yearly?

In Yurp, we can send it back to Van den Hul for a full rebuild fairly easily- it comes back as new. Prices aren't outrageous either. Obviously, this applies to the rest of the world too, it just takes longer.

Nice! I’ll keep that in mind for the future! I have a feeling that it’d both not play ball with, and be wildly extravagant for, my humble little table!

The Frog is available on CanuckAudiomart right now, 100 hours on it. $1950 CAD. Someone please tell me it won't work on my rig.
