Here for the first time the complete gig from Brescia recorded by Renzo
Storti.
Renzo Storti is a sound technician that worked for radio, cinema and
with University of Padua.
He recorded the concert with a Uher 4400 with Shure microphone; he
adjusted the levels during concerts while a friend moved the two
microphones that were placed on stands.
The tapes were played a few times after the concert, then they were left
safe without ever being touched.
About ten years ago Renzo decided to digitize the tapes to make a CD to
give to his friends present at the event.
With the fiftieth anniversary of the concert, Renzo came into contact
with Andrea Borsotti, a member of Y! and soul of research.
Renzo made a new transfer in 24/96, and yesterday in Padua we organized
an event with a preview of this recording.
The quality is incredible, perhaps one of the best audience recording of
1971, an incredible document that finally sees the light in complete raw
version.

i'm listening to AHM now and while this recording isn't BBC archive
quality or anything, for a 1971 audience recording that mostly sat
around for 50 years it is hard to find much fault with it.
