So, Liam Gallagher's son is in a band, and they've released an EP. Turns out he quite likes Slint. Honestly, this is pretty good stuff. In a like father like son way it's not going to win any originality points, but it's worth a listen.

Picked up a copy of Zero Zero Zero. I haven't spun it yet, but both records are flat and look to be pressed well. Comes in a single pocket jacket for 2 records, which is kind of thin/cheap. Black paper sleeves. Gonna clean them up and give it a spin later today. Not sure what plant these records came out of, maybe Record Industries?

Listened to the Mogwai Zero Zero Zero. Unfortunately the white vinyl is a bit noisy on my copy. Time to give it another bath, I suppose. Hope y'all fair a bit better.

Envy is live-streaming a concert tomorrow morning (4am CST) with archived access till August 3. Ticket is only $11 and change, which is refreshing (most streams from Japan have been regular ticket price in the $40 range).

I particularly enjoyed their previous album Enter Oblivion, which I nabbed stateside through A Thousand Arms. Not sure if this one will also find its way there, but shipping from the band directly is surprisingly not unreasonable, so I opted not to wait and find out.
