Pre-Order Thread

There seems to be a lot of newfound interest in the McCartney train with this album. I can't figure out if it's because of all the variants (especially TMR's gimmicky one) or if it's just a 2020 thing and we need to hold tight to our legends while we've still got them.

Egypt Station had its share of press but nowhere near what I feel this is getting, and I liked Egypt Station. Could also be the whole trilogy of albums, but when was I or II ever given the time of day? Are folks finally coming around to the underrated catalog of Sir Paul?

I thought I and II were given remasters not too long ago? Or do you just mean in terms of popularity with vinyl? A lot of this Paul stuff selling out quick is the resale market. Somebody flipped that TMR variant for like a few thousand bucks or somethin crazy on eBay...

Just popularity. I always see used McCartney albums priced in the $1-9 range in real nice condition for the most part. He's been excellent in the past 20 years or so.

Yea--I have some solid older pressings of most of his stuff but am always tempted to upgrade. I had never really listened to Flaming Pie but grabbed the deluxe of that in one of the Target sales and it's great

Airborne Toxic Event have some pre-orders up for their out of print albums, and first pressing of the acoustic album that came out as digital only a while ago.

I’ve had my eye on their first album for awhile, but the price never drops below $100, so this was a no-brainer for me.
