I guess I've reached a point where I've stopped thinking at all about when stuff might arrive! (But where the hell is that Velvet Underground box set I ordered?!) :D I agree this is a pleasant surprise and it will be great to have a clean, quality copy of this album.

This is cheaper than the used copy I saw in my local store last year. They were trying to sell it for 40 bucks. I'm gonna grab this. I have a love it/hate it relationship with this album. What I remember fondly though is the summer when I was all about this Witchouse stuff. Ballam Acaab was my favorite. Also I think the whole Chillwave thing was at the same time maybe... I loved that scene too.

This was all post college graduation and having nothing to do and no job in sight lol.

cheapest this was going for when i looked on discogs earlier today was $90.00, they are a duo now that Heather is no longer a part of the project and have a new album named Fires in Heaven that released at the very end of Oct. tho i haven't listened to it myself yet i've heard it's a really good album.

If it is as good as their previous releases it will be great. They do Audiophile releases. AAA cut by Kevin Grey pressed at RTI with the stamper replaced after 500 presses. I have 2 of their LP and both sound awesome. My guess is this will be better than the MOV pressing.

I just recently learned those aren't bagpipes in "Under the Milky Way". It's like everything I've known was a lie.

I Have the IR pressings of Mathew Sweet's Girlfriend and Altered Beast.
I have the MOV pressing of 100% Fun.

The IR pressings are, IMO, the better between the two.

In fact, I don't know why I haven't purchased the IR 100% pressing and PIF'd the MOV.
Add that to the things to do this Christmas break.
 
Very excited about these new pressings of Baroness's album Purple as 4 different picture discs for the 5th anniversary. I almost never buy picture discs, but I don't own this awesome album, and the artwork makes it worth it even if the picture disc quality isn't the best. Maybe I'll grab a standard black and my fav of the four other options.

EDIT: Wait a sec - the picture discs appear to be singles, based on track listings. Still amazing art.
