Pre-Order Thread

I was at that show!
I gotta say, I was floored by that show. The couple I was traveling with really wanted to make that show. We had come down for Power To The Peaceful the day before, and managed to score three tickets for $20 to the DMB show. I didn't particularly love or hate any of their albums I'd heard, but also didn't expect the show to be as great as it was. I also didn't expect Santana. That was especially awesome!

Someone is going back and forth with Plaid Room Records on Reddit, and they said they placed an order for 400 more copies of Llewyn Davis. They said it could be 2-5 weeks, but be sure to sign up for stock emails on the website!

Me too!! Also at the show where Neil Young opened for Pearl Jam then came back out to play another set when Eddie got “sick” aka hungover and puking a few songs into PJ’s set.

I drove 9+ hours with my mom(she was my DMB concert buddy). My first time in SF.
We were somewhere in that circle 😁

I once went to a gig on an NME Awards “best new acts” tour where the usual line up of 3 very fey young white boy sad indie bands were headlined by Amen. That was errrrr interesting.

Probably one of the finest Metal records gets a 20th Anniversary reissue - with lots of options to choose from:
Opeth - Blackwater Park

There's also a Deluxe edition including a booklet with exclusive never seen before content provided by Opeth fans. The booklet also features an extended acknowledgement section, featuring all the names of the fans who submitted content to be included in the 20th anniversary edition. So if you were one of those people, make sure to grab that edition. :)

For the soundtrack or Another Day or both? I was incredibly lucky to attend Another Day, one of the best shows of my life. I really really need that.

Trying to think of oddest openers I've seen. Ed Sheeran opening for Rolling Stones comes to mind. The crowd seemed a bit befuddled. I liked the move though. He did some acoustic stuff, a little rap-singing, some guitar percussion and looping. He wasn't trying to upstage the Stones by any means but I felt he held his own given the older kind of crowd. And this coming from a guy who isn't particularly a fan of his overly sentimental style of music.
I saw The Locust open for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in Glasgow. They got booed off stage and at the end of their set the drummer stood up and gave the crowd a thumbs down like he was a Roman emperor.

I misread this and thought someone on Reddit and ordered 400 copies of this and was then arguing with Plaid Room about it...the re-read makes more sense.
