That’s how many keepers the band’s superhumanly prolific frontman, John Darnielle, had come up with since they’d recorded In League With Dragons in Nashville back in 2018.

do I need the Pogs or Puzzle? no. But when your favorite band release an album you grab the best bundle available as long as it's not ridiculous (see: last Bon Iver album with those tacky af jackets)

Did I just order this knowing damn well that I’m going to also have to be ordering another Peak Vinyl or black version because the color-in-color is inevitably noisy? Yes, because I am a dumb baby.

You are not alone, this happened to me with Secretly Canadian's repress of the first War on Drugs album last week - also a 25th anniversary - of Secretly Canadian. They shouldn't be messing with us like this since the past year has felt like 15 years, so we're all vulnerable …
