Pre-Order Thread

Haha! That's the nature of the times. Before late last year, I never needed a running list of what's outstanding and estimated release dates, but I have one now.
I didn't used to, but PIFsgiving was intense and I really felt the need to make an excel sheet just to make sure I had everything in order. It was mostly cool until I had to send out two different records to two different members with the same name and I had a minor "OH NO WHAT IF I PACKED THE WRONG RECORD FOR THE WRONG PERSON" moment, so excel sheet time.

And once it was up for outbound, it was just a matter of putting in another sheet for incoming stuff.

This is the current state of vinyl collecting in the underground hip-hop community. Lots of stuff dropped is premium priced, super limited and sells out fast. I don’t fault them, as their process works but it’s a super expensive rabbit hole to travel down. If I spent too much time in the Hip-Hop thread I would have to take out a 2nd mortgage on my house.

In other news, with how long pre-orders are taking to ship these days, I keep forgetting what I've ordered and ending up with multiple copies shipping to me after it's too late to stop shipment. This has happened to me twice already this week and today is Tuesday.... I need a babysitter!
Yes, yes, yes, I have done this too. I need to go over to the PIF thread soon.
Is there an annual fee for the red card?
Nope. But @dbarila is right, the cost is that you buy a bunch of stuff from Target.

If you have kids the amount you spend at Target goes up exponentially per kid. I pretty much just deposit my whole paycheck directly to Target.
I took my daughter to PetSmart yesterday because our cat needed food. We spent like 20 minutes inside with mostly her wanting me to buy everything she saw for the cat. When we get in the car, she asked if we could go to another store and I said like what. She says Target. I told her that I didn’t need anything from there and she said that she just wanted to look around and see if they updated their inventory.

That sounds like she needs to hit up brickseek on the regular

This is too real!

Glow in the dark ‘Pure Phase’ is a nice nod to the glow in the dark case that initial copies of the CD came in (always wanted one, have never bought one) but all the same I went for the black vinyl. Listened to it for the first time in years at the weekend, after playing the new ‘LGM’ reissue, and it’s great.

Nothing like sending out a heads up this close to the deadline, but TMR just confirmed that older Vault accounts are going to have to re-subscribe.

I emailed about this weeks ago asking about my account, and never heard back.

If you use the tidal code you will probably have to ask for a new one. Canceling and resubbing would cancel it out i do believe.
