"Unlike similar modern day (pseudo) bluegrass bands, like Mumford and Sons and the Avett Brothers..."

Sounds like Magnolia records and OCMS is looking to start some bluegrass-beef with Mr. Mumford, Seth and Scott.

Away from my email for 2 hrs and “sold out”. Grrr.

I mean OCMS plays bluegrass - Mumford and the Avetts don’t.

Damn! They will almost certainly release a standard black version right? I wish PJ would have gone all out and reissued their catalog like this, mastered for vinyl by Bob Ludwig, double vinyl if needed, etc. I want definitive, audiophile versions on vinyl!

I’m pretty sure a newly remastered for vinyl black is coming also. They should have made more Ten Club clears though. I got the email at 12:09 but didn’t see it till about 2pm. They had to know they would sell a bunch of them.

I’m Trying to keep a low profile. Still need to pay off my RSD buys.

Wow - I didn't know they let it go out of print again.

They did back in 2016, Ludwig, double vinyl, the whole nine: Pearl Jam – No Code (2016, "E", Vinyl)

So they'd just have to repress that. Their description must be old and re-used from 2016.

Yeah, and that's some pretty bad copywriting on their part. They're recycling the announcement of the 2016 black version. Knowing that I have a 2016 release in addition to my original press, I was scratching my head at the "first time the album has been available on the format since its original release" line. That 2016 version is the black version of this release. It was mastered by Bob Ludwig. And a quick search over at the Hoffman forum revealed they used the same copy for the 20th anniversary release in 2016.

Glad that is straightened up. I only have it on CD. How does the vinyl sound?

Glad I scored a 1st Press of this a while ago. Its PJ's finest work and I would have been pissed if I had missed this and didn't' have a copy myself.
