Pre-Order Thread

Yeah, that makes sense. I am not an autograph guy personally. And though I enjoy Rough Trade as a store and a label, their indie sensibilities are up my alley; my issue is that I feel guilty spending $40 on an album I love, so going in blind on something that might not excite me wouldn’t be something I could get behind.

I signed up to give it a try. I figured that these should be collectible enough where if I take the risk, and get something I really don't like, I should at least be able to get my money back on Discogs.

2 things from reading the site and from the product. It seems to be worded like it will always be a new release, and also, if they're signed it sorta has to be (without being morbid)

Magnolia Teal exclusive for new Switchfoot. Promo code 2cents to take off $5. Sorry if this has been posted

Not a Pre order but Slumberland recently put out a reissue of Pains Of Being Pure Of Heart's Self-Titled Debut and they were just sent out. I received my copy yesterday. Anyways, The Preorder sold out on Slumberland's Bandcamp page but I was just looking at Discogs and it looks like they are selling at least one more copy from their Discogs store for retail ($20.00). So if anyone missed out and doesn't want to pay flipper prices, It's there for the taking.

In a funny coincidence I’m listening to my copy right now!

I like the line in Everyday Opus about eating too many chips and drinking too many beers. Very relatable.

I actually asked them that very question. I got in touch with them on Instagram and asked if they sell this well can we possibly get some others like Lemon's Chair, Cosmic Dust, Coaltar of the Deepers for example. They said it's a wait and see thing. I have high hopes for this!
Digging this up, since it's relevant. No longer a preorder, but somehow I missed Coaltar of the Deepers's new recording of their debut album drop via Needlejuice back in January. Mine's bound to be delivered any day now!

WWWHHHHAAAA!?!?

Never heard of these guys before, but the lead single showed up in my Spotify and Yusef Lateef's name caught my attention, the song itself kept it and seeing Brandee Younger, Mulatu Astatke and Charles Tolliver listed as features has me really looking forward to the whole album at the end of August!
