Why can’t they just use the original iconic artwork for the regular 2xLP reissue. Don’t need a picture disc or that round shaped box from the previous reissue.Ooooooh Screamadelica 30th anniversary…

A little update I got from Good Records on their Limited Edition Black Pumas-Capitol Cuts. I got a text from them about another order and asked the status, this was the response:
"Apparently there was a colored pellet mix up at the pressing plant. Expecting soon but waiting on a more precise timeframe from ATO Records. As soon as we have will get it on its way to you.
Sorry for the delay,
Chris Penn"
Colored pellet mixup is just code for yet another variant, isn't it?
Colored Pellet Mixup sounds like a terrible jam band.Colored pellet mixup is just code for yet another variant, isn't it?
FTFYColored Pellet Mixup sounds like a terrible jam band experience.
I know it’s expensive, but the original UK release of XTRMNTR is mind blowing good. Do not get the US Astralweeks release. That one was absolutely terrible when I had it.I really need to pick this and Xterminator up on vinyl at some point, two absolute classics. No picture discs though! I think there is a standard 2LP out there but it seems to come in and out of stock pretty randomly.
All I know is someone is going to try and sell me a cheese sandwich at some point and I’m going to wind up smelling like patchouli, like it or not.FTFY

I think the available releases of Screamadelica are generally well received. I have the Kevin Shields remaster from the 20th anniversary and that sounds great to me too.
I got a dosed grilled cheese at a dead show once. All I know is someone is going to try and sell me a cheese sandwich at some point and I’m going to wind up smelling like patchouli, like it or not.
I like all the words in this sentence a lot.I got a dosed grilled cheese at a dead show once.
More details, it was my birthday and I was on a field trip for a college course!I like all the words in this sentence a lot.
stay away from the brown havarti, manI got a dosed grilled cheese at a dead show once.
Dude was giving everybody else sandwiches from his grill. He looked at me, nodded, and reached down to a warmer thing he had underneath his table and pulled out a sandwich wrapped in foil.stay away from the brown havarti, man
That's a hell of a field trip. They don't let us take students anywhere good anymore.Dude was giving everybody else sandwiches from his grill. He looked at me, nodded, and reached down to a warmer thing he had underneath his table and pulled out a sandwich wrapped in foil.
I was all like what the fuck?
Then like 45 minutes or so later… I was like… oooooh!
It was also a course about the Grateful Dead. (It was on sub-cultures, but it was very focused on the Dead)That's a hell of a field trip. They don't let us take students anywhere good anymore.
Edit: although I would absolutely not want to trip sit any of my students. The very thought gives me anxiety.
I'm jealous. That would have been right up my alley. I've taught a course on social movements that was very music heavy, but only the one clearly stoner student seemed to really dig it when I had music heavy days.It was also a course about the Grateful Dead.
