I used to buy sooooooo many Newbury Comics records when I was first getting into collecting circa 2015/2016. Most of their records were less than $30. Here's the receipt for a big order I placed in 2015.

If you do the math that's $20.25/record with the discount. The pricing for everything they put out now is insane. And add to the top of that the cheapest shipping is always $7.... it's highway robbery.

most Newbury exclusives are priced decently, but when they go over the top (and happening more often now), of course everyone notices

Not sure if you've ever been to one of their stores, but they also raise the prices on popular titles that are close to selling out. I saw one of their Nirvana Bleach copies in store marked up to $75.

Wonder if there will be a VMP exclusive for this like the last one. That one was dope, and honestly a deal considering the shipping prices on State Fair Records.

Same. Then the box would arrive and I wouldn’t be excited for any of it because they were all just dumb variants of available records that I’d never buy as is. Then I’d thrust myself into a deep depression until I saw what they were going for on discogs
