I only really like the first two R.E.M. albums + Chronic Town EP. I tried getting into the rest of their discography a few years ago and it didn't click. They have some fantastic singles but most of their albums are just boring to me. I listened to NAIHF again today and was halfway through before I realized it's just not doing anything and I switched to something different.

Just got the email that the REM store cancelled my pre-order for the marble vinyl because "we did not have enough stock to fulfill your order". For everyone else who was wondering if it seemed like with all the bundles, they maybe allowed too many pre-orders for only a 1k exclusive, yep.

The two TTL exclusives of Broken Social Scene arrived for me today. Not remastered at all. Looks like the self-titled used the same plates as this pressing. Didn't cross-reference You Forgot it in People yet, but also not new plates. Mine are clean/quiet and sound good but not excellent. They really need some high quality reissues--seems like they just keep reusing plates.

damn. what time did you place your order? seems crazy that they couldn't figure out how many total orders to take for such a big band...it's why i hate the damn bundles. just sell the record on it's own...i know it's just a way to get people to buy shirts but it's frustrating when stuff like this happens.
