I will be 100% surprised if these ever materialize. It’s a real shame. I still want the Catch a Fire Jamaican version though…Got the same update, and was a bit surprised. That said, you have to tip your cap - a nice gesture for sure.
That's the one I'm waiting on, though I can't argue with your logic.I will be 100% surprised if these ever materialize. It’s a real shame. I still want the Catch a Fire Jamaican version though…

I can also vouch for the store, Mill City Sound that is behind this...great local store - probably my favorite in the Twin Cities. This is their first reissue via the Backgroove label, so no track record, but I would trust them to do this right...Well there ya go! Thanks!
Except their cart/web page doesn't really work. And it's trying to charge me tax.I can also vouch for the store, Mill City Sound that is behind this...great local store - probably my favorite in the Twin Cities. this has been happening more and more lately. VMP sends out the FOMO emails saying only x amount left of an anthology, then it pops up at various other outlets for sale. GD, Stax, and others were for sale at Acoustic Sounds too.Lol

I can’t figure out how to ship this thing for the life of me hahaExcept their cart/web page doesn't really work. And it's trying to charge me tax.
Interesting. If Ric Menck is involved that is prime 90s indie pop street credDuh. I should have checked the website. Mastering/pressing info here: About Backgroove Records
Yeah, lot of interesting potential there. But it won’t let me check out. So hrm.Interesting. If Ric Menck is involved that is prime 90s indie pop street cred
Same. Saw someone mention just hitting the local pickup even though it's charging more for shipping, then putting a comment in that says to ship. I just really don't want to pay tax also when we don't have it. I might call tomorrow.I can’t figure out how to ship this thing for the life of me haha
You have to select “shipping” before adding it to your cart and it’ll change the price of the record to include the shipping cost. When you’re checking out, it won’t let you finalize until you select “pick up in store.” Someone on Reddit said it’s a work around and it should still be shipped appropriately.Yeah, lot of interesting potential there.
