I'm so proud. It's especially wonderful that I'm receiving this Dad award despite being childless. So in honor of this momentous occasion I've carved a small wooden child out of wood along with a snappy motivational slogan that I think we can all enjoy.

I made another. It's for Monday's. Because Mondays, right?

Are you thinking of the right band? (Or maybe I just haven't listened to this album in a while)
There's a couple bands in the Ho Hey genre. There's the lumineers, who the genre is named after, but these guys are the big guns. Had the unfortunate experiance of seeing them at a festival in 2012. They'll throw the Ho Heys into any old song, they'll just be strumming along and on comes a unison HEY! Gotta admire them sticking to it.

They had a song at the end of the first episode of Sweettooth, which was really good, before it ends with a big ol HO HEY and kinda ruins the scene. That's my most recent experience with them.

Yeah, I'm listening to Little Talks and there is a good bit of that going on. I actually really like this album. (Or I did last time I listened to it anyway).

I'll take a Ho Hey track over an indie whistling track any day
