After reading more about this I’ve changed my mind from “glad they are available” to “this looks like a bad idea”.
Originally I thought these were more like a high end limited 1-step vinyl but if I understand the hype they are actually selling unplated lacquers not vinyl records. I still haven’t watched the videos.
I just gave it a casual glance earlier. Maybe I’m the only one who missed this little detail at 1st glance but It should be made a lot more clear. Big difference.

Not kidding. Supersense and Universal Music Group, Austria are making available a limited number of lacquers cut directly from the original master tapes of a few albums including A Love Supreme and Getz/Gilberto. That's what they are saying, I don't blame you for being incredulous.
