Why the two copies of Bloody Kisses though?

That is weird. I have the RoG box from a couple years back, which is great. Although I think a lot missed out on it. Of course, no Dead Again cause it's on a diff label.

But, yea, 2 BK's and NO Origin of the Feces. Now, BK is a superior album, yes, but I wonder...same tracklisting or maybe one has the later released tracklisting? It would be still redundant but def make more sense than the same album twice in the same box just diff colors.

Either way, never gonna scoff at Type I love.

I've never listened to Mastadon before but this album is great. $55 is kind of steep though.

I think Crack the Skye (my favorite) onward will be right up your alley if you enjoyed this. That's the album where they went from a more traditional heavy metal band to starting to incorporate more prog/catchy song writing elements imo.

I'm assuming you mean total w shipping hopefully not $62 shipping lol. The only way I saw it unbundled from the box was with that book. I guess since they're charging $15 for that book, it doesn't make it quite as bad (given the broader prices of the vinyl landscape).

I don't know, I've got the RoG box and standalones of October Rust and Bloody Kisses, so I've no ghoul in the fight. Just musing.

From a pricing standpoint, damn near everything in this hobby is ridiculous. It's just that some ridiculous things appear less ridiculous when you compare them to the über ridiculous.

It’s quite bad if you don’t care about the book and only want the records. I have both Bloody Kisses and October Rust but together they cost me about as much as this WCD reissue would. I’ll just hunt down the CD since it’s a 90s album anyway.

This is black editions sub label, Black Editions Archive, I believe this is their focus, it might be of interest to keep an eye out on that new sub label.

Also the black editions and the rest of the umbrella are really great. They have the rights to the PSF catalog and are slowly releasing things, and doing Ikeezumi-san very proud.
