Pre-Order Thread

Looks like there will be an indie exclusive as well.

Not seeing numbers for the Colemine edition so guessing it's probably pretty big? I guess indie is the way to go

Getting closer to that For Squirrels press I keep hoping for...

Someone posted this on Reddit and I listened to a couple tracks and really dig the sound.

Edit: listening to more and upgrading dig to love. This is great.

RELEASES MARCH 4, 2022

Plantamos is a space folk duo from Monterrey, Mexico. A project that includes Alejandro Elizondo (from Los Mundos) and Bianca Villarreal, husband and wife, that began in early 2020 when the world was confined to their homes due to Covid-19 regulations. They started with the idea to record music to help cope with the strange new excess of time. It began as an exercise, doing covers of Yo La Tengo, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Johnny Cash and then original compositions began to emerge. The idea was to create without any judgment, free music, an alternative to the strange and true uncertainties of the times. Plantamos became an escape of this strange world that surrounds them. With influences by Yo La Tengo, Beat Happening, The Soft Boys, Wilco, Karen Dalton, the band seeks to create something significant, nostalgic, and full memories. Plantamos closes the cycle of Razones Para Vivir, with this, a 10 song album recorded and mastered by Alejandro Elizondo at Las Dunas Studio in Monterrey, Mexico, mixed by Larry Crane in Jackpot! Recording Studio in Portland OR.
