The website blurb makes it seem like it's not quite the batshit crazy far right album I was expecting from the title. Still will stream it first.

I could be wrong but I never got that feeling. I have 2015 LP Drones. Solid album. Blurb for Drones says:

“Muse, and Matt Bellamy in particular, make no bones about Drones: their seventh album is political through and through, a bold statement concerning the dehumanization of modern warfare”.

Since I have been trying to shake off the tears and sadness all day from a CNN clip of a mother crying in street next to her covered lifeless child it seems time to pull this one out for a replay. :-(.

Yikes. If they could go back to the first three album Muse, I’d buy. If it’s the recent muse….. hard pass.

Well when you make a damn near perfect album like Absolution, their new stuff will always pale in comparison.

On its own merits though, this new one still stinks to high heaven.

Their last one was actually only one disc. But if you didn't remember anything about that album I don't blame you.
