Pre-Order Thread

I want to order Ride’s reissue of Nowhere but looking for the best option for an oversees purchase. I see that recordstore.co.uk and juno.co.uk have them, but they use super flimsy mailers and would prefer to use another option without breaking the bank. I checked jpc.de, and I couldn’t find them listed. Any ideas where to check?

I just checked Deep Discount and had no luck unfortunately.

It drops November 4th, assuming it’s only available from across the pond.

I have good luck with import titles (mostly MOV and We Are Vinyl titles) via Deep Discount.

Yeah me too. Their label Wichita Records is putting it out, suppose I could always order from one if the two places I mentioned, they have been good with replacing, but I have to request replacements VERY often.

Yeah, that’s a pain in the rear even moreso when dealing with overseas. You could check with @Ethos99 PBC.

I preordered Nowhere and the 4 EPs from Norman records and it came out to be under $80 shipped for both

Their own band store seems to have it too but not sure who fulfills it…and shipping seems to be around £11 so not very cheap. They have the EPs and Going Blank Again if you wanted to bundle shipping

Saw this as well from a quick google;
“Wichita Recordings told me in an email they will not be able to sell these in the US, UK only. US rights are with Warner Brothers.”

Metric has their new album behind their app, at least for a day. Three options - black, cobalt blue (limited), and cream deluxe (signed insert limited to 1000). Apparently there is a Fan Club/Members vinyl too but I'm not part of it. I think it works out to $32, $37, and $47 respectively.
