It is not sold out. Copies are still available at Plaidroom. That preorder is for the stereo version which comes out in November.Shows sold out now...
Craft sent me a 15% off code so I keep surfing the site to see where it applies. Obviously not this pre-order.

they removed the limited to 500 copy....which would be kinda screwed up IMO since they are charging a premium for it.

Right. I'm just saying two different versions. Craft doesn't do a ton of their own inventory. The stereo version is still available for preorder at lots of places including AS.
Seemed to me like @Jbraswell thought the mono version was sold out at Plaidroom.

Tbf, it never said limited to 500, it said something like 500 available for pre-order. Misleading for sure, but a weird way to word only 500 pressed.

not to defend the obvious misleading nature with this pre-order, but colored variants are almost always more than the standard black and $7 more isn't that unheard of... hell, I've seen way higher mark-ups for just an OBI
but my response may just be Stockholm Syndrome after so many years of buying hip-hop records

I am planning to order a stereo version. Not a huge mono fan. I don't even have the button on my amp to be in the club
No idea if these stereo preorders are getting low. Craft is just one site now showing sold out for the preorder over the weekend. Will more follow? Not sure... I guess we'll see what happens.

The stereo isn’t limited and will likely be repressed like all the other Acoustic Sounds series. Craft never stocks a lot on their site. The Bill Evans 45 was also sold out there but available everywhere else. They will have wide distribution and should be able to pick it up at your local if they carry new jazz releasesI am planning to order a stereo version. Not a huge mono fan.
