when I heard about Squid's "Bright Green Field" and fell in love with it I was checking out YouTube clips of Squid playing live and the name Crack Cloud would come up in the comments as a similar band to Squid (probably mainly because both have drummers as their lead singers), so I poked around on some of their stuff out of intrigue as well. I can't say what I heard/saw totally won me over, but like you said they're pretty fucking wild

if you're a fan of slowcore, these albums are indispensable. i've been listening to "lowercase" for 25 years since ordering it based on a description in a parasol mailorder update and have been an evangelist for them ever since. never thought i'd see them pressed on vinyl, though! these will NOT last long.
