I'm safe since I already have these. But the Castaways set is a great entry point for the Monster Rally-curious.

So, regarding the Alice In Chains - Dirt 2xLP 30th Anniversary Edition link I posted yesterday from Amazon. That listing on Amazon has now vanished. Says something like "This Page cannot be displayed" when you try to click the link. My order is still active in my account, but I kind of foresee this getting canceled. The release date for this was August 12, 2022. I cannot find any information about a 30th Anniversary release online, other than they are making a Funko Pop AIC package to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the album. No mention of a new vinyl record pressing. People on the Hoffman forums aren't sure what's going on. Same story on Reddit. Record store owners show none of their distributors with this release.

My fingers are crossed that this order goes through, as a 2xLP version will likely be a huge improvement over the MOV version, which crams 57 minutes of music on a single record.

Edit: this also turned up on the SHFs.

Edit Edit: A user from SHF posted this.

I just got a reply from NTX Vinyl on YouTube. Re this 'Dirt' release he says:

'Yup! It's coming. The actual "announce date" is August 12th (not the release date, despite what Amazon says - they posted it without permission. Shocker). Release date is September 23rd. I am planning to have tons of copies avail. Stay tuned.'

As per the 30th anniversary link above, looks like 23rd Sept is correct date..

Ooooof. My copy of Farm came in with some of the worst looking non-fill ever. Looks like a damn trough through the first minute or so and there is a sliver on the run-in where I can almost see daylight. Glad I caught it before trying to spin it.

My copy had a nice tick inducing scratch to kick off the first 30+ seconds of the final track. It sucks but I am guessing getting a replacement would be pretty tough at this point and the rest of the albums sounds fantastic so I am just gonna live with it.

I think sometimes they pull preorders to try to avoid overselling a title. So depending on how many Amazon gets it may not get cancelled and it might bet delisted when they actually get copies in stock.

It's a bit pricier than I'd liked, but I'm glad to see the most recent Snotty Nose Rez Kids album getting a vinyl pressing!
