Yeah I just saw this, and am beyond excited. This album is one of my favorites of the 90s, and I’ve been waiting for a reissue, but didn’t think it would happen since it was his second album that got all the play (thanks Kiss From A Rose). His debut IMO is far superior, and fully deserves a lavish reissue like this. However, I do hope that there is another option for people who want the album but don’t want all the extras.

Yeah, I would buy the hell out of a 2LP set but I have no use for the cd's. I agree this album is way better than his second album.
 
I mean is Seal's first album being better than his second even a take? I do really like the second one, even if it is the first step to him doing Standards albums and Masked Singer. The first one was just such a confident and different sounding thing. There was a reason there was all this buzz around him before he started kissing flowers in bloom on graves and shit.

There is a #ed box set on their website. $225 Black unsigned And the colored signed for $499. Besides other items the set includes 5 7” with unreleased songs. $225 maybe fair (I think I’m just getting main LPs) but the excessive added for the “signed” versions always hits me wrong.

Single they released sounded great to me though.

Oh wow - I wonder if we'll get The B Sides (and The Hits 2 would also be cool).

Cool that Target put all 18 songs on this release instead of whittling it down to fit on one LP...and "Creamy White" vinyl feels like a pretty dirty pun for Target to print with a Prince album!

i hate when artists make signed copies more expensive--especially when they more than double the price on it. seems like a big fuck you to the fans. make the first few hundred copies signed or something for the same price as a thank you to fans. Don't upcharge it.

Agreed. Like it when it is just a bonus if you buy the album from them directly. You get the perk of a signature and they pocket a bigger share of the profits from the sale. No need to be greedy and take advantage of your fans.
