Pre-Order Thread

I have all the VMPs but what was the deal with edits on them? They were missing some samples? Or skits or something?
Don’t remember the VMP missing stuff but the samples originally were cleared for vinyl only at Tommy Boy since digital streaming wasn’t a thing when the albums were made. I know they have been trying to furiously clear samples the past few years but wasn’t sure if they got them all cleared since there are SO many

I looked back, I think Buhloon was missing the skits. I do not care about this.

Well for all formats other than streaming which did not exist... which is why this
That was released through Tommy Boy though. I'd be very surprised if these new reissues are from a different source than the return to streaming. Hopefully will be clarified explicitly.
Is up in the air. Just because Tommy Boy doesn't own the rights anymore does not mean that the clearance is different.

Just doing a plug for one of my favorite record stores that I pre-order a lot from.
I know several of you already buy from The Cosmic Peddler, but if you're not familiar they're awesome. Big focus on stoner rock, doom metal, and related metal and rock genres. Lots of imports at way better prices and free shipping/insurance at $37. They started a rewards program and if you use this link you get $5 off and so do I. The owner really does customer service right and he builds relationships with a lot of these bands, so he gets stuff you can't normally get elsewhere in the US.

It's because there are zero options for lots of Americans in some places other than those chain restaurants. It's easier for a corporation to open a location than an individual to raise the capital needed to do so themselves. Also people in the US love chain restaurants, they do. I don't like them but have eaten at them. I also prefer to get food at local places if I can. the best thing about living in Vermont is the lack of fast food options everywhere and more local places to eat. Customers here also enjoy supporting local and make an effor to support local places over chain restaurants. Other states don't have that same culture of supporting local as much from what I've seen. Not to say that there are not good local food options everywhere it's just more common to find fast food prevalent in most places.

I mean they’re your chains, that’s fine. I’m more asking why you’re inflicting them on us 😂

Also, randomly moved the conversation to a different thread…
