I have the Rhino and the Waits/Brennan remix...I think I'll pass on this one. But if I found an OG in the wild I'd probably grab it!

If you ever see a Japanese OG knocking around or get into the whole Japanese old pressings madness the Japanese pressings of the Asylum stuff are brilliant. Love everyone I’ve bought and they weren’t that steep in the grand scheme of things.

Good to know. I always look at anything Waits related in stores or at shows, but rarely see something I don't have or haven't seen before.
That being said, the bootleg of Bone Machine I bought last year is terrible.
I’ll second this. I have a Japanese pressing of Closing Time that does sound quite great.

Yeah when the new mixes came out and I hated them I started looking for the best pressings of the original mixes. Got the rhino of the first four, which are really quite excellent, but they didn’t do the rest of the asylum catalogue. Managed to pick up Japanese OGs of Blue Valentine, Heartattack & Vine and Foreign Affairs. They’re all excellent!
