7’s can be worth a pretty penny:

Absolutely. My 4 most valuable 7" by median are these. Of course Pearl Jam & Taylor Swift are a beast of their own, so my top "regular" artist is The National's Think You Can Wait. All in on these 4, I think I paid under $50. I bought Let Me Sleep for about $20, was gifted Last Kiss, I'm guessing that T Swift RSD release was about $15-20, and I bought the National 7" for about $10.

antarctica's brilliant double LP 81:03 is FINALLY coming to vinyl. no exaggeration, i've been hoping this would get reissued for decades. one of my favorite LPs of 1999 (or any era), though it sounded totally out of place at the time. antarctica brought together synth-pop, cold wave, chiming post-punk, and chillout techno, but it was the traces of 90s emo sincerity in their sound that set them apart from the naked pastiche of the post-punk revival to follow. i really hope the reissue sheds some light on them, their obscurity has always been mystifying to me. i encourage folks to take a chance on it!

Thank you so much for bringing this antarctica album to my attention! There are some really incredible songs on here. I can't believe I didn't know about this until now, as this should have been on my radar when it came out, unless it has been a pretty obscure release since the get-go. I've been listening to it on youtube (link) since it's not on spotify, if others want to check it out that way.
