I was really glad I bought the Mono box when it 1st came out. Play parts of it regularly. My go to Beatles box since I don’t have NM OG UK 1st pressings sitting around on the shelves.

I was really glad I avoided the hype and skipped the Stereo box. Looks nice but For me I wouldn’t have played it much.

So this one. A highly processed greatest hits box at a high price point. I think it will sound fine and look great. However, I should definitely skip it since if I’m sitting down to the Beatles on vinyl I almost for sure will pull an full album. But, as you say, it’s a long weekend. One day at a time.
 
The black is substantially cheaper other places. Since I plan on waiting, I may actually just look for sales on the individual albums, there’s nothing to the box other than a slipcase, right?
