Pre-Order Thread

That is why I would never pay full price for a Magnolia subscription again, too many stupid comps. I paid 201.00 in April with a 40 percent coupon which is $16.75 shipped which is a good deal. Swaps have been pretty good so not displeased at all. Their curation is really lacking these days though.
I still don’t understand how Dualtone ran Vinyl Den which was great and pre merger Magnolia was very niche but good. Combined they equal dumb.

My frustration is that they largely have a lot of bands that sound the same as their ROTM's and Exclusives. They rarely touch on the Country genre at all which is something Vinyl Den did. I'm also not a big fan of Dualtone's roster these days, once again too many bands that sound the same although I do appreciate the Lumineers. Even Discovery stinks these days which was really good when they first started it. War and Treaty, Caamp, Futurebirds, Josiah and The Bonnevilles, Brian Dunne were all awesome.

This one could be interesting. Gong Gong Gong was a wild trip and these dudes they partnered with also do some wild stuff. So this vinyl only release could be worth taking a gamble on. Seems to be going quick.

Further context/research.

I'm pretty sure Brooke annibales album was a discovery release last. I really like her a lot. I don't have her album but I keep meaning to pick it up.
