Single Thursday for sure. SUPER hoping for the announcement soon. She replied to me on Twitter months ago that it was coming soon.Hoping we get a Katie Pruitt new album announcement as well on Thursday, but I am just not sure if it is going to happen yet.
But is it bluegrass? They will not. Only one thing dropping in the store this week it supposed to be a highly sought after bluegrass title.
That Sprints album last week may very well be in my top ten this year.First contender for best album title of the year
looking forward to streaming that in full. Some people who saw them live last year raved about the show.First contender for best album title of the year
I loved st cloud a lot and definitely would have bought it if I was collecting vinyl when it came out. I'd at least want to hear another single before I decide if I'm going to buy the album. I'm also considering getting Madi Diazs album from Grimey records because its signed but I decided to wait a little bit incase other albums get announced soon that I want more. It seems like most of the variants are at least $27 before shipping for a single lp which is a lot. There is a chance that I might preorder it but I haven't made up my mind yet. When I heard she was releasing a new album I thought it was going to be a must buy for me but julia holter also announced her upcoming album today as well and I like the song she released more than the one that Waxahatchee released today.Totally get it! I like her but she's not insta buy over waiting for a 50% off sale for me.

I’m hoping this is where Dolly’s “The Grass is Blue” shows up because it should have been a monthly choice! They will not. Only one thing dropping in the store this week it supposed to be a highly sought after bluegrass title.
Mofi did it, so probably.Garcia/Grisman Shady Grove?
It would be nice to complete the trilogy.I’m hoping this is where Dolly’s “The Grass is Blue” shows up because it should have been a monthly choice!
I've been a fan since Cerulean Salt but St. Cloud has a special place in my heart. When the pandemic hit we stayed in the city for the first month or so but when we realized it was not going away anytime soon we headed up to the Catskills in March and rode it out up there until August. On the day we were leaving the city to drive upstate, the car was all packed and we were ready to go, but right before we left I checked the mail room for any last packages. There was only one, and it was my pre-order of St. Cloud. I brought it with us and it was quite literally the soundtrack of our lives for the next 6 months. I probably spun that album every day and never got tired of it. Still haven't. Probably an all-time top 10 album for me. It's been a long 4 years waiting for the follow up....I really want the new Waxahatchie album because I loved St Cloud a lot but I'd probably rather have the new Julia Holter album that was announced today more.

I was going to wait on this album but I listened to the first song and it’s really nice. Grabbed this one since the red looks best with the red accents on the cover + it’s limited so if I end up not digging it, at least it’s limited.Waxahatchee - Tigers Blood [LP - Alabama Crimson Tide]

It’ll be some random country album that has a banjo on it. It’s probably Rascal Flatts. Not likely to be that from my understanding.
St. Cloud is a masterpiece. My wife and I saw Katie perform all of the songs live for the first time at Mass MoCA in June of 2021. Live in person music had been absent from the world for ~15 months. Seeing Katie perform these songs was unbelievably raw and emotional. She played with a radiant yet tentative joy, and much of the audience (including us) had tears of joy streaming down our faces. Will never forget it.I've been a fan since Cerulean Salt but St. Cloud has a special place in my heart. I liked the singles from st cloud a lot but not sure what I think of the new single. It's a little bit too country influenced for me. I'm not sure why I can't get into it since I was a big fan of st cloud.I've been a fan since Cerulean Salt but St. Cloud has a special place in my heart.
