First 3 are fair game, No. 4 has its moments, Shangri-La is most underrated, though I haven't given the first S/T its fair shake. Then the non Scott albums I think I touched maybe once. I don't think they're awful or anything, just not STP.

I think it’s a toss up between Tiny Music… and Purple are both fantastic. Purple was the record were they expanded their sound beyond straight grunge (not that there is anything wrong with Core, it has some excellent tunes but it’s very by the numbers.) Tiny Music felt like it was more heavily influenced by David Bowie than Eddie Vedder on the best way possible.
