At last they are finally doing vinyl releases for Princess Mononoke
although... to be fair, I bought 5 of the soundtracks, Laputa OST, Laputa Symphonic, Nausicaa OST, Nausicaa Symphonic, and Totoro OST from Amazon.jp back in 2018 and it was $219 for 5, which works out to be $43 for each.

I'd like to think it's been in the works for a while since they said they'd be sending them a test pressing to auction off. But the timing is interesting for sure. Maybe they'll donate some of the proceeds to the MusiCares fund for Covid-19 relief, which is what the Wonders are raising awareness for when they do their movie re-watch tomorrow on YouTube.

It's Aaron Stauffer (Seaweed/Gardener), Erin Tate (These Arms Are Snakes/Minus the Bear), Sean Husick (Milemarker), and Dustin Perry (Snapcase). I know at least a couple of the guys, Aaron and Erin, are healthcare workers, and Aaron wrote a nice note to others on the front lines of the pandemic.

Terrible customer service, bad packaging, no ROW store and no cancellation (if the record should show up being available to the rest of the world)...
I'd really not prefer to gamble on this record, but given my experience with them, I feel that I don't have a choice.

Even the VMP versions were on black vinyl. She's never done a colored pressing. If I had to bet I'd say there's no VMP exclusive but obviously I have no idea.
