Pre-Order Thread

Fantastic Damage pre-orders going up on Friday at the fat possum site.

Edit: re-read the email, the vinyl drops in August. Not sure if Pre-orders start Friday, or if it will just be up on streaming services then.

Per the RTJ4 email:

"And while you’re at it, def make sure to check out two really special releases this month from the main man, El-P. First up is the official re-release of El’s debut solo album, Fantastic Damage, which will be available for the very first time on streaming services. First released in 2002 on his iconic Indie label, Definitive Jux, Fan Dam has achieved certified classic status as one of the most important rap albums of its era, and cemented El-P as force to reckon with.

It drops this Friday on Fat Possum Records, who also released El-P’s last solo effort, 2012’s Cancer 4 Cure, and his recently re-released 2007 opus, I’ll Sleep When You’re Dead. Vinyl will be available this August."

Jesus Christ my wallet.

Any reason to think our locals won't eventually sell this same version? No "Limited Edition" whereas some of the others (bundles) were marked as such.
Teal copies of RTJ2 and gold of RTJ1 still linger around local stores, but they are a lil more expensive and no telling how long they will be around. Preordering from their site gives you a 10% discount so really the shipping is more like $6. You know it goes to the artist too. so really up to you whether to wait or cop now.

Good call here. Didn't notice the 10%. Not that $3 was a difference maker, but I appreciate the small things. Ordered!

Shipping was only $6 if you went LP only.
