Ryo Fukui - In New-York and A Letter From Slowboat will be reissued by WRWTFWW in their We Release Jazz serie. As usual, it's a limited edition, half speed mastered, pressed on 180g vinyl in stoughton tip-pn sleeve with OBI with liner notes. Probably a more affordable option than the Japanese reissues.

I saw there is a Jap pressing of this out. I have been pleased with the WRWTFWW reissues. But then Japanese pressing are usually good. Is the quality of the Japanese release 1st rate?

My guess is that they are the same remaster. Not sure about pressing plant. I think the japanese releases are limited to Japan only through HHV and the WRWTFWW is not for sale to japanese customers. I have the WRWTFWW reissue of Scenery and it sounds awesome.
