Essential as essential can be:
Burial - Untrue
I wonder if this pressing will sound better than the standard pressing? I haven’t received the Madvillainy Sire Edition/Concerto 65 edition yellow translucent copy of yet, but people are already saying it sounds better then the standard! 😍

I also have the standard pressing of Untrue, but I’m thinking of getting this one because of the praise the Concerto 65 pressing of Madvillainy is already getting! 💡🤔

Dammit, shipping is 27 euros for me! It’s a pass unfortunately...🥺

The pressing I have does sound good though, and it sounds better in my opinion than the pressing of Madvillainy I have, so I’m not too bummed I’m missing out on this one! 🙂

Thks for posting. I couldn’t get the links to work. Here is the link Nubya Garcia

And for the overseas folks Me Bongo has:

Note the date looks wrong for Mr Bongo.
I splurged a bit on her website for signed copies. Sample tracks sound good. High Hopes for this one.

That's reasonable to me, too. All I have is this alert

And a personal DM being threatened with a ban. It wasn't clear enough to me what specific element was forbidden, only that I was "doxxing" and getting the boot if I cross this vague line again. It didn't specifically state the address being the reason, but it's all public knowledge. The posts seemed suspect, so I literally just typed the user's listed last name into Google with the company and it popped up. It was listed as a business address so, If anything, that's free promotion.

If it's the address... okay.

If it's something else/more, I don't know how to make the point that so and so is who they are with that particular connection, without saying who they are and pointing out that connection. They're using their own name, own photo, own city and posting links to their own company. I wasn't trying to divulge 'secret" info. I'm just saying, "c'mon. Feel free to stick around, but be up front, because this feels disrespectful."

If the company address is the issue, I'm not going to push back on removing that. I really wasn't trying to "doxx" anyone.

I'll even apologize if it seems like I'm tripping or overreacting on any level. I'm not trying to unrealistically conflate anything here, but I do currently live in a city with a militarized police force brutally assaulting peaceful citizens, while ID-ing and threatening to arrest them, just for trying to go home to their own apartments. Meanwhile, they follow it up by escorting armed white nationalists in a tirade throughout the exact same area they've roped off and beaten people for getting too close to the day before. Anything I interpret as protecting the rights of people perpetrating suspect behavior to perpetrate it, while chastising or reprimanding those who push back against it for pushing back against it, can be a bit triggering, right now.

Remove the address. Remove the whole post. I just think the priorities might be a bit off. If you have a vinyl company to promote, I feel like this is a fairly welcoming community and platform to promote it, as long as you're respectful about it and it doesn't feel like you're trying to dupe anyone.

<removed by mod @Kris because it contained personal info>

This is an actual community here. Please don't come in with a "hello fellow kids" post about how you love emo, as some weak Trojan horse to play Donnie Brasco with your spam links.

We have people like @Edd from Wax Buyers Club on here, and @Plaid Room / Colemine, but they are very transparent about who they are. If you guys are dropping some sort of exclusive, that's cool; let us know. That Story Of The Ghost repress is everywhere. There's even a section specifically for vinyl clubs on here. This just isn't the way to go about it.

The problem was the address. Please look back, because that is exactly what I did. I removed the address. I am new at moderating and did the wrong thing the first time. I undeleted the message and removed the address.

Edit: Any time I see an address posted here, I google map it and it looked like an apartment complex. That was a red flag to me. and why I deleted it.

I've been really happy with the stuff I've picked up from Platomania.nl the pressing on Tribe, Lauryn Hill, Madvillain were all very good. I've gone ahead and picked up Franz Ferdinand and Burial now.

Hi @Kris
I just want to step in as a third party (and concerned N&G citizen) and hopefully help a bit here.
I don't think anyone is in the wrong here. It seems like this is more of a communication issue than an issue around what actually happened.
I don't believe that @Dead C is frustrated because the address was removed, in fact, it appears that @Dead C agrees this makes sense based on the fact that the address could be a residential addresses even though it is listed as a commercial address by the company.
It would be surprising to find someone who disagrees that this action was justified.
The issue stems more around the communication that happened. @Dead C feels that the communication implied that there was malicious intent behind the post.
I suspect that one of the reasons we all enjoy this community is that there has been more respect and transparency on this board than on other boards we may or may not have been apart of in the past.
The outright warning that someone is about to be banned for posting an address listed as the commercial address could seem a bit harsh especially given the context of the post, which did not call for malicious action to be taken by any party. The action also appeared to go against what we, as users of the forum, have come to expect from moderators.
Perhaps in the future, it would be more constructive for a conversation to happen with the user and moderator(s) when behaviour is deemed not appropriate for posting instead of a threat to remove the user from the forum.
I believe this is a great example of how messages are conveyed being more important than the content of the message.
I hope that this conversation regarding this incident will help this forum continue to be a place where people feel comfortable discussing all things music and vinyl.

I just did the same and even added a few others to ease the shipping costs which stayed the same for 4 albums.

The third for me. Dry is my favourite album of hers, this one is actually quite a ways down my personal list but everything she’s done I love so that’s no bad sign!
I think I have a soft spot because this was my entry point and I was a massive fan through this and the following 2 albums. I should really take a deep dive. I don't think I've given the early or later albums a proper listen.
