Pre-Order Thread

Since everyone is digging on Buffalo Tom I'm going to go ahead and give a shout out to one of the best local Oklahoma City bands we've ever had. The Chainsaw Kittens.

They still have a huge following here and they got around a bit in the 90's playing with Smashing Pumpkins. James Iha helped release their self-titled album. I own three of their albums. They were one of the locals we had who would spill over to Texas alot. Them, Flaming Lips, Butthole Surfers, and Tripping Daisy were all buddies.

“Connie” was on SO. MANY of my mixed tapes.

How is the first one still on sale?? Thought it would have sold out for sure. I ordered it but still haven't received any word on it shipping yet.

A little confused as it says 1st time on vinyl. I have Two&Three on vinyl. So these are represses of the 2014/2015 releases? For example....

Listening to the 2-LP version of the Flaming Pie reissue I received today. Beautiful half-masters, flat and quiet and they sound great. I’d never listened to this album so glad I grabbed it from uDiscover, and definitely recommended. (Relevant to pre-orders only because it was when I ordered it!)

That makes me excited. I got this one on pre-order and I think it recently shipped. Been looking forward to it. It's a surprisingly solid album for a later McCartney release.

It’s top-notch. Beautiful gatefold, lyric booklet with brief anecdotes about each tune, plus note from the mastering engineer on embossed half-page sized cardstock.
