I received a notification as well. I checked quickly after the email hit my inbox but no copies. Wonder if it was an error — seems very odd it would sell out so quickly, especially since it’s not one of their better albums.Did anyone else get a notification about a repress of Kikagaku Moyo- Stone Garden repress? The bandcamp is showing that it is already sold out.
I believe I'm already signed up to receive notifications from them so hopefully I get the email in a timely manner I assume there's no date or time given, just that it's coming? Will try to. Yes I know historically, old 7"s are rare/valuable due to how few were pressed, how few have survived, etc. My comment was more that I didn't feel the need to buy a Khruangbin 7" I will never play simply to sell it later as I don't see much value in the time or energy in that and I'd rather people who actually want it to get it...The most valuable pieces of wax are predominantly 7".
I don't think anybody is saying it's not a cool format...there are a bunch of back to back posts about how people want jukeboxes to play 7" records hah. It's just that it's not practical for people who know they will never play 7" records to buy them...The 7” format is awesome.
It’s a sad day at N&G that there’s even debate about this.
I mean I knew the album existed, I kind of want that though.
I have a u-turn. I actually don’t actually mind it at all. Somewhere on the forums there is a video of my little trick. Also having a direct drive TT helps. It would be a pain in the ass to switch the belt over every time ya wanted to listen to a 45. I am lazy AF and any extra step beyond pushing a button would cause me to not spin a 45 most of the time.
They’re so much easier to dry though! To me the most annoying part about 7" is cleaning them. It's almost not even worth it but they usually have more debris on them than 12" records.
Actually the drying 7" is the biggest flaw on a Squeaky Clean. You have to put a piece on to cover the rest of the want and it never stays in place. This is why most of my bonus 7" are still unopened. They’re so much easier to dry though!
Yeah, no. I have some 7" but I hope to never buy another one.Yes I know historically, old 7"s are rare/valuable due to how few were pressed, how few have survived, etc. My comment was more that I didn't feel the need to buy a Khruangbin 7" I will never play simply to sell it later as I don't see much value in the time or energy in that and I'd rather people who actually want it to get it...
I also think that 7"s released now will ever be worth what, say, a rare northern soul single that existed only on 7" might be, or a Sex Pistols record that was destroyed by the label might be worth. But who knows!

Mine stays in place, bro. Same for the 10" cover.Actually the drying 7" is the biggest flaw on a Squeaky Clean. You have to put a piece on to cover the rest of the want and it never stays in place. This is why most of my bonus 7" are still unopened.
I just hold them by the center and dry both sides at once.Actually the drying 7" is the biggest flaw on a Squeaky Clean. You have to put a piece on to cover the rest of the want and it never stays in place. This is why most of my bonus 7" are still unopened.

I received this yesterday and am spinning it now. Sounds great and the red vinyl is flat and quiet. Origins aside, I never would have questioned this based on just listening to it, and it's the only Khruangbin album I own, it's a keeper. It’s a bootleg, supposedly it’s sourced from YouTube. The record store attached to it has been pushing it hard over on Reddit.
Nice! I have the Live at Lincoln Hall record of theirs and i think I only need one live album of theirs but good to know it sounds good!I received this yesterday and am spinning it now.
