Saw this announcement the other day. Box looks really nice. This is primetime Bob Mould. Highly recommended for anyone who doesn’t have these albums.

man this is pretty cool. I already have the Sugar albums, but I've never actually listened to anything Bob Mould solo besides his post-2012 albums. 2016 me would be all over this box but 2020 me is not going to buy it. 1) because I want to save money 2) because I don't have that much shelf space left 😅

Just noticed that they have alternate artwork for each and it looks really cool.

Small anecdote. I remember getting into Sugar in 2010. I was listening to a lot of Husker Du/Sugar when I would play Fallout: New Vegas, Which coincidentally has a part of the game that takes place at the Hoover Dam. I didn't plan on listening/playing with that coincidence but it was an amazing thing to discover because that song came on exactly when I was on that part. I still think of that game whenever I listen to Sugar lol.

Vinyl does not seem to be available seperately at least in her store anyway.

Yeah I figured he was but It's just a lazy generalization to make, regardless of the circumstances that term has been used for so long and in every instance it carries a negative connotation, and leaving it be allows that type of negativity to flourish, there's better ways to describe crappy systems without putting down an entire population.

I apologise if I offended anybody. I have to put a little context here, I think. As @Selaws said, I was referring to the copycats products like Aidads or Ñike or Sqny. I am from Argentina and we have a very fucked system when it comes to importation: the "original" brands are 75% from the USA and maybe a 15% from Europe. But that is not what moves the economy here: here everybody buys Aidads. And we call them "Chinese products". We even call "Chinese" to the supermarkets with low prices; they are not supermarkets for us, they are "chinos".
So in my post I was under no circumstance trying to use a derogatory term; there was just so much lost in translation. But I apologise again if anybody felt offended.

Small anecdote: I remember buying Copper Blue as a new release/CD during Midnight Monday at the local independent music store during my sophomore year in college.
Good lord.....I am old.

Small anecdote: I saw Bob Mould do a solo acoustic show supporting BSoR in 1991 at the Grand Emporium (RIP) in Kansas City.
I was 21 at the time. Good lord, I am really old.

And, a question: At over 55 minutes long, how on earth can Black Sheets of Rain sound good crammed onto one LP?
