Pre-Order Thread

hopefully there will be a 20% off coupon/special coming.

Bummer news on the UO coupon front. Looks like they are starting to exclude Vinyl from alot of them. I buy from UO alot so end up getting a good amount of those $10 off $50 for order cancellations, and an occasional 30% apology for when something goes really wrong with a shipment (like a damaged item that is now sold out).
Have used these for Vinyl always abut as of now I have 3 in my bank and none would work for the Weeknd or any other Vinyl. I went straight to the email for 30% off and now vinyl is excluded in the terms (and it never was before).

Luckily sitewide sales would still include everything as well as the $5 reward coupons Im sure. But overall a bummer and will cut back on my UO purchases Im sure, especially with how overpriced some are.

Joe Hisaishi - Howl’s Moving Castle (Image Symphonic Suite)
Much like concept art, image albums, or in this case an 'Image Symphonic Suite', help provide some extra colour to a production. This one is for Studio Ghibli's 'Howl's Moving Castle', one of their strangest and most endearing works, whose cast featurs e a scarecrow and a very nice dog. As you might expect Joe Hisaishi is on soundtrack duties, his compositions as key to the film's magical mood as any other component.

Joe Hisaishi - Howl’s Moving Castle (Soundtrack)
The soundtrack to Studio Ghibli's wonderful adaptation of Diana Wynne Jones's 'Howl's Moving Castle'. Who else but Joe Hisaishi could capture the magic and the whimsy of an actual moving castle? Of course, as with most of their films, there's more to it than that, director Hayao Miyazaki has said this film was partly influenced by his opposition to the 2003 Iraq war.

Was just about to post it. Awesome this is finally coming out but damn those 7 and 9 lps seem like overkill for 1 (kinda 2) albums).

I know some people are HUGE petty fans so this is awesome for them. BUt in sets like this I just know I'll barely listen to the extras. Definitely pulled the trigger right away on the 3 lp version though.

Friends of Dead Oceans presents its inaugural release: a new seven-track EP from Brooklyn-based band Triathalon.

Formed back in 2011 in Savannah, GA, Triathalon consists of Chad Chilton, Hunter Jayne and Adam Intrator. Over the years the band has experimented with multiple sounds, releasing 3 albums, one EP and has shared collaborations with several artists.

Their newest release “Sleep Cycle” blends fresh but familiar sounds; there’s a meditative quality to the music that is especially welcoming in the current climate. Mastered by long time collaborator and ex-band member Alex Previty, a few of the tracks across the EP have mantra-like lyrics – simple thoughts repeated over and over that twist and turn and slowly morph into subtle ear worms.
