Pre-Order Thread

Fatbeats and Zia are my favorite sellers of exclusives. Both of them come out with some great underrated exclusives. (It’s crazy that there are still copies left of that El Michels Affair exclusive for $18!)

Anyways. Here is a new one that they just dropped. Didn’t take long to listen on Spotify before I hit that buy button.

I see it's not the 3 LP difinitive edition that the URL has eluded to for all this time...oh well.

I'm good to wait, right? The pressing isn't limited, or is it? I don't have a good read on NIN store stuff.

I hadn't listened to this in a while and the post prompted me to. It's so damn good.

Cant wait to grab these two! I have these on vinyl but I’m so ready to hear these audiophile pressings!!! These are my two favourite Nina Simone albums, and I can’t imagine how good it’s gonna feel when the track “Feeling Good” plays on this particular pressing! I’m gonna be laughing so joyfully because it will be a magical moment for me, especially as I’ll have a much better cartridge by November too! 😊♥️

Baby Monster cannot wait for it! The vinyl life is gonna get even more epic!!! 🔥🔥🔥

I'll answer in pretty much the same way I did a page or so back (someone had the same concern):

Most (I think ALL, but I'm gonna fence sit on this) of the NIN definitive pressings have been widely available outside of the NIN stores. The Social Network DOES NOT say "limited" so I'd breathe easy. Take into account something like The Fragile Deviations 1 that was released in 2017 and says "limited" is still available.

There may be some scarcity in the initial run. I take as an example The Watchmen soundtracks. There was some anxiety with those 'cause for a bit they were showing sold out places; however, I think this was due to supply issues/high demand, as they too can be readily had now.

Finally, take all this from someone detached and not at all concerned with getting a copy (I love NIN and have a lot [too many] releases, but this soundtrack is not something I see myself spinning often so files work for me), so I may be leading you down the primrose path to hell. Don't cry to me when you can't get a copy.

Noted. Do not cry to Lord Diaper Baby.

This girl is on fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiire!
I unfortunately have mixed feelings on her recent efforts. Her last album HERE was OK for me. In this album seems a bit overproduced so far!

Her Tiny Desk performance was amazing though and her single “In Common” is still such a sensual, pulsating, mystical, acrobatic, oriental, sweaty jam! 🔥🔥🔥

I’m a big Alicia Keys’ fan in general though! I really like her first 3 albums, and Songs in A Minor is one of my all-time favourite debut albums! Easily her best album in my opinion!
