Pre-Order Thread

Man, it's a flashback time in the Pre-Orders thread with Blake and Miranda together again for the first time since 2014!

Anyone know of this version has the volume drop like in the VMP one? Or was that somehow fixed on the master
It's going to be Kevin Gray, so I imagine this will sound as well as it can.
But Kevin cut the VMP version too. So did he fix the volume issue on the 2025 version? @MikeH , can you ask him next time you go down to change his bucket?

Yup knew it would sell out quickly. It's why I said I was resisting the flip. Self titled sold out in a day or two and was for sale for $150 in a matter of days.
Self titled took 5 days to sell out.

IMO They should definitely limit to one #ed copy. Fortunately more un#ed copies likely to follow.
There is no incentive for them to do this. Selling out in a day is good for business for them.

I'm fine with # to 5000 and that's it don't make more. Or unlimited non number. I don't get limited and then unlimited with the only difference being a stamp

They haven’t repressed them all. Limited to 5k numbered copies drives FOMO and lets them repress unnumbered if it sells out quickly. I’m not sure Sabbath sells 5k copies in 12 hours if it’s an open pressing with no limit

I actually think a numbered run and then an unlimited standard run is the perfect scenario. Get some fomo going, get people excited for the series and releases. Then the ones that have sold well… keep them in print in a manner that doesn’t devalue the original run. My only problem with the way Rhino did it is they didn’t say hey this is what we may be doing, but for me, it seems like the best way. I want people to have good pressings of good music available to them.

I just dont see the point of a stamp only. It's not limited. But I won't yuck others yum.
