The comp is really great, all the singles one after the other, really hard to beat it. Mad professor mixes are s so underappreciated.

I was working at an HMV back when the box came out - we were all losing our damn minds to it for awhile !

I'm curious where The Head on the Door fits in here.
Also, IMO, the S/T is a sneaky good release and you should give that another chance, it might sneak up your chart here.

This is basically my ranking except I have Wish ahead of The Head on the Door. I'd also include the Japanese Whispers EP, which is almost a mini-album at 8 songs long (I'd place it somewhere in the 6-10 range).

I must admit that I overlooked Seventeen Seconds for way too long. I bought the CD when I was younger and favored more obvious hooks. I've been revisiting this album lately and realized that it's more of a mood piece like Faith, except more accessible (i.e. it is possible to listen to it even when it's not gloomy outside!).

I think I'd also rank Faith above Pornography (and Bloodflowers ahead of Three Imaginary Boys) but we're really splitting hairs here. My next mission is to give The Top a fair shot. I don't recall it being less enjoyable than Wild Mood Swings or the two most-recent albums, but tbh I haven't listened to any of those in a long time.

Yeah everything below Bloodflowers I’ve listened to maybe 3 times each in full outside of a couple of songs that I’ve liked on each. So my ranking of those is mostly random, since I haven’t listened to any of them in a few years.

The Roots

01. Things Fall Apart
02. Do You Want More?!!!?!!
03. The Tipping Point
04. Illadelph Halflife
05. How I Got Over
06. Phrenology
07. Undun
08. ...And Then You Shoot Your Cousin
09. Game Theory
10. Rising Down
11. Organix

...even ranked last I love Organix, which speaks to the strength of The Roots' catalogue.

(Bonus List)
The Roots and...

01. John Legend - Wake Up!
02. Elvis Costello - Wise Up Ghost (And Other Songs)
03. Betty Wright - Betty Wright: The Movie

Blue Öyster Cult

01. Blue Öyster Cult
02. Fire of Unknown Origin
03. Secret Treaties
04. Imaginos
05. Agents of Fortune
06. Tyranny and Mutation
07. Spectres
08. The Symbol Remains
09. Club Ninja
10. Cultösaurus Erectus
11. Curse of the Hidden Mirror
12. Mirrors
13. The Revölution by Night
14. Heaven Forbid

While Cult Classic is considered a studio album, I've left it off the list as it's just re-recorded versions of classic songs. Typically Imaginos finds itself way lower on lists like this, and can't truly be considered an album in the traditional sense - but I love it, so there's my hot take!
