I’m generally not a fan of the premise of this thread, but this one pulled me in:

I had a huge U2 phase when I was 14 but back then I didn’t think my of “…Wild Horses.” Fast forward 25 years and I can’t listen to that “don’t turn around” bridge without crying. It’s so damn good.

“Acrobat” is a banger. Weirdly I associate that track with Mario 64 because I played that game a lot around the time I was getting into Achtung.

rare situation where I think they picked the best two songs for the lead-singles. Space Invader's lyrics absolutely destroyed me on first listen (was really going through it). I think Alphabet City is an odd choice for track one, but that's my only issue...I love this song.

yeah, now that I look at my list, I think Alphabet City could be anywhere from 7-11. All of those songs, IMO, are good, not great. None of them stand out tremendously more than the others. The floor on this album is much higher than TFTPOF however. Tour Manager is last because it's a little bit of a buzzkill in the mix, I don't think it fits in the album well.
 
I just stumbled upon this thread.
As my head exploded the last thought was - this might be the single best insight into the musical tastes of N&G Members.

I love this thread already- Which I'm sure has some of you wincing and shaking your head.

I was listening to OK Computer and then figured I may as well rank the other ones that I know best.

Radiohead are a weird band for me. I was OBSESSED with them in High School. I wore out their CDs in my car and mp3s on my iPod Nano. However after high school I basically stopped listening to them altogether. I think I overdid it and couldn't really listen to them anymore. Thom's voice annoyed me for so long. Revisiting them today and I could see myself going on a binge again because enough time has passed where the songs feel fresh again with a renewed perspective. Outside of OKC and Kid A (and TKOL and AMSP) I don't think I've listened to the other albums at all since like 2010, but I was still able to rank them lmao.

OK Computer is still one of my favorite albums. I def was obsessed with them for a good chunk of my life. I don't think I really truly stopped listening to them - I might listen to them less now because they haven't had an album in 8 years.

You know i actually grew to like it because of the piano version from "I might be wrong"? At first it was kinda weird to me. I still actually prefer the live version.

Have you heard this version off of Kid Amnesiac? Its like if they mixed the two. Has the piano & maintains the atmosphere of the original. No backwards recorded vocals though
