Record cleaning - what's your method?

Has anyone used this stylus cleaner?

I live in a SUPER dusty apartment and the combo of blu-tack and stylus brush just isn't doing it for me. Willing to give this a shot to see if it will work out better, and I have a Ortofon Blue if that makes any difference.
After further reflection, it would be very difficult for a 2M stylus to become dusty simply from dust in the air. More likely, your records are transferring dirt.

A Humminguru can deep clean the records and you can go the extra mile of quick cleaning them before you play.

Before I owned an ultrasonic, I never knew how much crap my inexpensive vacuum record cleaner left behind.

I have the HumminGuru and have cleaned all of my records at least once. It might be dust landing on the record then transferring to the needle but either way, my needle does get incredibly dusty.

If you are using some type of gel or sticky substance, your stylus might be gunked up and sticky, and so picking up and accumulating dust a lot.

I normally US clean and dust off the vinyl when it comes out of the rice paper sleeve. It's amazing how dirty those inner sleeves are even after you US a record.

And every so often dry brush the stylus, dip in the AT gel and also use the AT liquid brush stuff.

It's maintenance in my opinion.

A little goes a long way...

My bad for presuming. I’d give the wet stylus brush a try - it worked well for me. If that doesn’t work, you may indeed have residual gel on the stylus that is adhering dust.
