Record Store Day 2021

Without fail, every time I think the RSD titles are meh, I end up finding things I previously missed or glazed over.

Dipped back in for:
  • All Them Witches – Live On The Internet
  • Little Feat – Electrif Lycanthrope Live At Ultra-Sonic Studios
  • Tammi Terrell – Irresistible Tammi Terrell
  • Leonard Cohen – Songs Of Love And Hate
  • The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Paris 67
  • Chris Isaak - Beyond The Sun
I think this RSD was underrated in terms of quality titles. Not as much quantity or grail type releases as previous RSD's but pumped for all the ones I got.

Fair enough. I will say had I not popped out at the last minute (fully intended to shop this morning, but I happened to wake up early yesterday) I probably would have looked right over this little guy:

13 live tracks from some of the legendary venues (The Whiskey, Jett’s, Hong Kong Cafe, Madame Wong’s) from ‘83.

That said, also nice keeping the bill under $200 unlike a lot of other RSDs, so I’m not sure I mind the slimmed down sheet.

Just put on Tammi Terrell and my wife came down and asked what I was playing so that's two RSD orders this go round.
 
I found myself still awake at 5 am, so as I was going through my email I happened to check out Yellow Dogs RSD stuff and ordered a couple more.

I was wondering if this would happen. A bit of a signed markup but not bad.

Gave it a play yesterday, a bit understated and soft but I bet it works well turned up a bit.
