Those are some pretty big inventory numbers. It baffles me how allocation works. For example, My local shop ordered 20 copies but got 5.

A lot of the shops around here only got but just a few.

My local got 20, and it's tiny. Mostly DVDs and CDs with a few bins of vinyl near the back. But he's making more on that the last two years so rsd has been really good for him and one of the big money making days.

Yeah it's really surprising that where I live places got so many. I do not understand how.

Hard to say how difficult TS will be to get yet. The place I went had 150 in stock. And there were still two other shops who also had at least 70-80 copies each. The one I went to gave out numbers in line if you wanted it, and let you go in first if that's all you wanted (they kept them behind the counter). I'd say maybe 30-40 people in total including me bought a copy before I left? And yet there are already listening for over $100.

I was bullish on availability but am now more doubtful. I got a copy 70 or so deep in line and they still had some but Newbury was full on out when we showed up. I guess we will see

Also I was recognized in line as “that guy from the internet” so basically I’m an influencer now and send me free stuff and/or money.

See this is the best record store in town, but I chose the easier route and went to another shop this morning. But this is their post of the gigantic amount of Taylor they had…

In and out. Got everything on my list and had Macho Man in my hand but the guy in front of me wanted it so I let him have it. The line is nuts and goes around 3/4th of the block.

a lot of weird college-kid jazz nerds in line this year. Didn’t see that one coming. Also a lot more women in general, which is nice to see - and mostly not the TS crowd. Lady in front of me was dead set on that Jazz Dispensary. Couple college girls in front of me were angling for the Billy Joel release.

No one was buying them at my local record store, lol. Except true their form, the 2 people who each year are always at the front of the line and get like 30 recocrds each.

My local asked for 15 Blakey's and only received one but yesterday label told him they would ship more next week... Go figure...

Okay so if anyone in CANADA sees a Tricky please let me know. If possible. Seems like it's pretty available on Cogs at list price, but it's all EU so far so shipping is blerg.
